Winter is a great time to visit the beach with winter storms, events, razor clam tides and quiet strolls on the beach. With Valentine’s Day this month, this makes for a great opportunity to go stay at the beaches and have a romantic weekend. With this winter storms people are finding glass floats all along the beach.


Seabrook has brought back the glass float find Valentines weekend and Leap Year weekend giving you a chance find one of their popular glass floats.

Pacific Beach area ends the month and starts the next month with their annual Chocolate on the beach fund raiser for the North Beach Museum.
WDFW just announced the closure of approximately 1500 feet of shoreline near Seabrook to recreational and commercial razor clams due to the spillage of sewer getting on to the beaches. This section will remain closed for the rest of February. They have also announced more tentative clam tides through the month of April. February 20-23 razor clam tides will depend on final toxically reports.
